    A New Model for Residential Health Care

    People Inc. is transforming how health care is delivered in its group homes, with the implementation of a unique nurse practitioner program that is already preventing an average of five emergency room visits each week while providing onsite medical care to nearly 900 people. By bringing nurse practitioners directly into residential settings, the program is improving access to treatment, reducing unnecessary hospital visits and allowing residential staff to remain in the homes where they are needed most.

    Applications are Open for Homeownership Program in Youngstown

    Applications Open for Youngstown Home Niagara Area Habitat for Humanity is accepting applications for a home in Youngstown, NY, in partnership with People Inc. The Family Selection process considers three factors: ability to pay, need and willingness to partner. Habitat Partner Families are required to complete "Sweat Equity" hours and a HUD-Certified Homebuyer Education Course.
