People Inc. has named Leslie Garrity to serve as director of public relations and marketing. Garrity is responsible for the oversight of all aspects of People Inc.’s communications efforts including planning, development and implementation of marketing strategies, communications and public relations activities, both external and internal.

Garrity brings nearly 20 years of communication experience to Western New York’s largest human services agency. Notably, Garrity spent 14 years leading corporate communications at First Niagara Bank and most recently held the title of director of strategic marketing and communications for Roswell Park Cancer Institute. A resident of Williamsville, NY, she earned a bachelor’s and a master’s degree in communication from SUNY Brockport.
