Day Habilitation Celebrates Holiday Tradition

For the past seven years, People Inc. day habilitation programs have celebrated a beloved holiday tradition, gathering with direct support professionals to create festive ornaments. They then make an annual trip to the Festival of Trees at the Niagara Falls Power Vista to place the ornaments on a tree that is donated to our agency by the event. Each year between 60 and 75 people served in the program take part in the festive tradition. Check out some photos from the fun day in action!

Friendsgiving in Action: Cooking, Laughs and Community

Last week, staff in People Inc.’s Community Habilitation program in Rochester, NY, hosted a Friendsgiving themed-cooking demonstration. 30 People Inc. DSPs Recognized for Achievements

After 180 nominations from staff, people served, family members and the community, 30 direct support professionals (DSPs) at People Inc. were chosen as this year’s winners of the DSP of the Year Award.
