People Inc.Community Partners Grow Green Spaces

People Inc. is partnering with local organizations and volunteers to enhance outdoor environments across its more than 200 service sites throughout Western New York.
Through a new beautification initiative, People Inc. is creating welcoming, low-maintenance green spaces that are visually appealing, environmentally sustainable and supportive of people served.
“By partnering with organizations and volunteers who share our commitment to community and environmental stewardship, we’re creating spaces that are welcoming and built to serve people for years to come,” said Anne McCaffrey, President and CEO of People Inc.
The initiative will improve outdoor areas through phased enhancements designed to boost curb appeal and overall quality of life for people served by People Inc. and staff members. Initial efforts will focus on foundational beautification projects such as mulching, litter cleanup, seasonal planting and garden bed preparation. Future phases will expand native and pollinator-friendly landscaping to support biodiversity, reduce long-term maintenance needs and strengthen environmental sustainability.
