People Inc.

Colleen Galloway is a Western New York artist who attends the Arts Experience studio of People Inc. She primarily works in acrylic paint on canvas, canvas panel and paper.  

Galloway's paintings feature balanced compositions of interlocking, irregular forms in a distinct palette of deep jewel tones. She combines opaque paint with washes, creating soft color gradations that impart a dimensional quality to some shapes, and unify the work as a whole. Galloway’s approach is thoughtful and methodical. She gives careful attention to each piece she creates.
