The award celebrates leaders in the community who champion inclusive practices and create environments where everyone feels valued and supported.

As Program Director in Day Services, Duncan oversees both certified and community-based programs, including Young Adult Life Transitions (YALT) in Lockport, Arts Experience, senior day habilitation and the agency’s pet therapy program. In her 23 years with People Inc., including the past two years in her current role, she has continually elevated programming for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, ensuring they have access to integrated, meaningful life experiences.

“Beth’s teams and peers respect her, and the people she serves thrive because of her. Her work uplifts everyone around her, and she inspires me to be better, think bigger and lead with heart,” said Lani Churley, People Inc. associate vice president of day and supported employment services.
