People Inc., in partnership with Mt. Olive Development Corporation, was recognized at the 2025 Buffalo Business First Brick by Brick Awards, winning in the Multi-Residential Affordable category for the construction of Mt. Olive Senior Manor.
People Inc.'s President and CEO Anne McCaffrey and Chief Innovation Officer Concetta Ferguson accepted the Buffalo Business First award for Mt. Olive Senior Manor, along with our partners Stephanie Hunt and Christina Barmosz from Silvestri Architects and Ed Pawlik from CSS Construction.
The Buffalo Business First Brick by Brick Awards recognizes leading projects and companies in real estate, construction, and development across Western New York. The award highlights the impact of Mt. Olive Senior Manor in providing 65 safe, accessible apartments for older adults in the community.
Co-owned and co-developed by the Mt. Olive Development Corporation and People Inc., Mt. Olive Senior Manor is a three-story affordable senior housing development on the south end of the Mt. Olive Baptist Church property at 227 Sheridan Avenue in Buffalo. Mt. Olive Senior Manor officially opened in June with a ribbon-cutting ceremony attended by project partners, community leaders, and more.
For more than 30 years, People Inc. has been recognized for its leadership in the development of affordable housing. Today, People Inc. owns or manages 33 affordable housing properties, which includes 1,500 units across Western New York.
