OPWDD Visit Celebrates Employee Development
People Inc. was honored recently to welcome representatives from the New York State Office for People With Developmental Disabilities(OPWDD) and the National Alliance for Direct Support Professionals (NADSP) to our headquarters in Williamsville. The meeting celebrated the accomplishments of People Inc. employees Ashley Brown, Medical Liaison Team Leader, and John Asibor, Behavior Technician, who successfully completed levels of the NADSP E-Badge Academy.

The E-Badge Academy offers direct support professionals and frontline supervisors the ability to earn national certification through an online platform. There are three badge levels. Ashley has completed all three levels and John has completed two and is currently working on the third. These badges demonstrate the knowledge, skills, and values that these professionals utilize every day, recognizing the professional development that might otherwise go unacknowledged. Congratulations, and thanks to our hard-working employees.
