People Inc. Artists Featured at Buffalo Botanical Gardens

Artists from People Inc.'s ArtsWork program are featured in an exhibition titled "Color Fields and Floral Musings: Botanical-themed Representation and Abstraction." The exhibition runs today through Sunday, March 23, at the Buffalo and Erie County Botanical Gardens, 2655 South Park Ave., Buffalo.

The group exhibit features a variety of creative approaches inspired by botanical themes, reflecting each artist's specific interests and working methods.

Psychology Fellows Program Fills Gaps in Services

In response to a critical need for clinicians with experience supporting people with intellectual and developmental disabilities, People Inc. is participating in a national program to train psychology doctoral and post-doctoral students. The fellows are integrated into the Behavioral Department, developing specific skills that include providing accurate diagnoses, planning appropriate support and treatment and bridging the accessibility gap for counseling to those who have experienced barriers to receiving services.

Valentine's Dance Benefits People Inc. Programs

The Gypsy Parlor, a bar and restaurant in Buffalo, is graciously presenting a Valentine's Dance to support the People Inc. Foundation. The event will be held from 7:30 p.m. to midnight on Saturday, February 1, at Asbury Hall at Babeville, 341 Delaware Avenue, Buffalo. This annual event for adults aged 21 and over will feature entertainment, music, a basket raffle, an art exhibit/auction and more. Items created through People Inc.'s ArtsWork Program will be for sale.

General Admission tickets are $60 per person. Tickets include entry, entertainment, hors d’oeuvres, and dessert. Formal attire is encouraged.
