What We Do

FrankVasquez Francisco M. Vasquez, Ph.D. - Executive Vice President

Dr. Vasquez has been employed by People Inc. for almost fourteen years. He began his career at People Inc. as Director of Central Services in December 1992.

Dr. Vasquez received his Bachelor's of Science Degree as well as his Master's of Business Administration from the University of Phoenix in Arizona and received his Ph.D. in Social Foundations of Education from the State University of New York at Buffalo.

When asked what he likes about working for People Inc., Dr. Vasquez remarked, "I stumbled around a little in arriving at the precise answer. I had difficulty explaining the intense passion and gratitude I have for an organization and its leadership that gave me the freedom and support to grow on a personal level. It was through Dr. Boles' persistent but kind cajoling that I reached a pinnacle in my educational aspirations. There really are no words to describe my indebtedness. How do you define with all due justice the incredible benevolence of an organization that values its employees and their contributions? How do you depict the tremendous compassion shown to the people it serves and to those that do the serving? How do you portray the generosity of an organization that helped me and others to transform what was 'just a job,' into careers, into vocations? I like working at People Inc. because it allows me to make mistakes and learn from them, because it encourages me to contribute beyond the limits of our organization's mission and because it supports my personal calling to serve others."

Dr. Vasquez contributes to and participates in several community organizations, including the Western New York Hispanics and Friends Civic Association; Children and Families Task Force; Public Bridge Authority Community Advisory Task Force; Buffalo Urban League; Erie County Self-Sufficiency Coalition; Erie-Niagara Area Health Education Center; Independent Health Foundation; American Cancer Society Regional Planning Council; Community Advisory Committee at Buffalo State College, Black Leadership Forum/Kaleida Advisory Committee; Erie County Cultural Resources Advisory Board; Oversight Board for the Advancing Arts and Culture Buffalo Niagara; Leadership Buffalo and Mayor Byron Brown's (City of Buffalo) Street Workers Steering Committee. Dr. Vasquez also participates in the National Society of Hispanic MBAs and the National Council of La Raza.
