People Inc. Celebrates Senior Housing Opening in West Seneca

Why:
People Inc. has developed its newest senior living community, Burchfield Commons, in
West Seneca. Burchfield Commons was named in honor of the artist Charles Burchfield who was from West Seneca. People Inc.’s award-winning apartments are for independent seniors, age 62 and up, who meet the federally mandated income guidelines. Burchfield Commons provides 49 seniors with a new home. Tours will be available.
People Inc.’s Burchfield Commons provides safe, affordable housing for low-income senior citizens capable of independent living. The rental apartments consists of a single bedroom, kitchen, living/dining area, and a bathroom. Additionally, the building includes a Community Room with full kitchen and lounge area for social gatherings, caretaker’s apartment, new appliances in the tenant apartments, laundry facilities, full-time manager's office, and recreation activities. In addition to the West Seneca facility, People Inc. operates senior housing complexes in Amherst, Blasdell, Cheektowaga, Grand Island, Hamburg, Lackawanna, Orchard Park, South Buffalo, and North Buffalo.

Since 1971, People Inc. has assisted individuals to achieve greater degrees of independence and productivity.
