Ribbon Cutting at People Inc.’s Sunflower Senior Housing
What
:
People Inc.’s Sunflower Housing will be having its ribbon cutting opening.
When:
Tuesday August 29th, 2006; 11 a.m.
Where:
146 Franklin Street, Lackawanna
Why:
People Inc. has been hard at work converting the former Franklin Street School near South Park Avenue and Our Lady of Victory Basilica, into an affordable senior living community called Sunflower Housing. Our award-winning apartments are for independent seniors, age 62 and up, who meet the federally mandated income guidelines: the building dates back to 1920 and was once used as an elementary school. Now Sunflower Housing contains 50 apartments retaining much of the building’s character while adding 21st Century amenities.
So please join People Inc. President and CEO James M. Boles, Mayor Norman Polanski, and many other elected officials and community leaders as they tour the beautifully renovated Sunflower Housing and celebrate its opening.
Please RSVP to People Inc. Director of Public Affairs Kevin Horrigan and 817-7475.
People Inc. is a not-for-profit health and human services agency providing programs and services to at least 10,000 people with special needs, their families, and seniors throughout Western New York. Since 1971, People Inc. has assisted individuals to achieve greater degrees of independence and productivity.
