People Inc.’s Staffing Specialist Appointed Vice President
of Volunteer Administrators of Western New York
BUFFALO, N.Y., July 20, 2006: People Inc. is pleased to announce staffing specialist Patricia Snyder as Vice President of Volunteer Administrators of Western New York for the second term. Snyder has been volunteering for Volunteer Administrators of Western New York since 1999. She also served three years as secretary. Volunteer Administrators of Western New York is an association established to promote the exchange and dissemination of information concerning the use of volunteer services in order to encourage growth, development, and cooperation among volunteer service programs, and to explore new trends and areas of service.
A resident of North Collins, Snyder’s responsibilities at People Inc. are to have a clear understanding of up-to-date Human Resource laws, policies, and procedures. She works to recruit, research, interview, screen, and refer job candidates for open positions throughout the agency. Snyder has worked for People Inc. since October of 2002 and has contributed towards People Inc.’s employee recruitment and retention efforts.
People Inc. is a not-for-profit health and human services agency providing programs and services to at least 10,000 people with special needs, their families, and seniors throughout Western New York. Since 1971, People Inc. has assisted individuals to achieve greater degrees of independence and productivity.
