People Inc. Speaks to the South Buffalo/Lackawanna Lions Club
BUFFALO, N.Y., July 5, 2006: Recently, People Inc.’s Director of Public Affairs Kevin Horrigan spoke to the South Buffalo/Lackawanna Lions Club regarding the health and human service agency. Featured is a photograph of Horrigan with the President of the South Buffalo/Lackawanna Lions Club Joseph Needham. The South Buffalo/Lackawanna Lions Club generously donated $200 to People Inc.
“Speaking to the Lions Club is an example of People Inc.’s outreach to the community,” explained Horrigan “and we are grateful to the South Buffalo/Lackawanna Lions club for their generous donation to the agency.” The effort is to establish or sustain relationships in the communities in which People Inc. has residential homes, day programs, or a developing presence in. The speech given to the South Buffalo/Lackawanna Lions Club is part of an ongoing speakers series from People Inc.’s Public Affairs Department to promote community relations.
People Inc. is a not-for-profit health and human services agency providing programs and services to at least 10,000 people with special needs, their families, and seniors throughout Western New York. Since 1971, People Inc. has assisted individuals to achieve greater degrees of independence and productivity.
