Buffalo, N.Y., April 20, 2007: Seniors today are experiencing serious financial hardships. It has become difficult for many to make ends meet. Rising health care and prescription costs, high utility bills, and home repair expenses are challenging and for seniors with dwindling incomes, the impact is worse. People Inc. is helping hundreds of seniors by providing safe, attractive, affordable apartments through twelve locations in Western New York. Family members and seniors are encouraged to tour one of People Inc.’s Senior Housing complexes in South Buffalo called Seneca-Cazenovia Housing. The Open House will be held on Thursday, April 26 from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. at 2171 Seneca St. in Buffalo. People Inc.’s Seneca-Cazenovia Senior Housing is located in the friendly South Buffalo neighborhood, near Seneca-Cazenovia Park and Mercy Hospital.
People Inc.’s Senior Housing programs offer rental assistance for independent seniors age 62 and up. The rental apartments include gas, heat, and water. There is on-site management and maintenance, on-site laundry, emergency pull cords and response systems, group transportation for weekly grocery shopping and social activities. The building also includes a Community Room with a full kitchen and lounge area for social gatherings and a caretaker for building emergencies.
In addition to the South Buffalo facility, People Inc. operates senior housing complexes in Amherst, Blasdell, Cheektowaga, Clarence, Grand Island, Hamburg, Lackawanna, Orchard Park, North Buffalo, and West Seneca. Applications are currently being accepted for apartments in Amherst, Clarence, Blasdell, Cheektowaga, Hamburg, Lackawanna, and South Buffalo.
