Disability museum, Jewish center get grants

The Museum of disABILITY History in Amherst and the Jewish Community Center of Greater Buffalo have been awarded state grants, Assemblyman Jim Hayes, R-Amherst, announced Friday.
Grants of $13,000 and $3,500 were awarded to the museum and community center, respectively, from the New York State Council on the Arts. The museum will use its money for institutional development, and the community center will apply its toward electronic media and film exhibitions.
