Individuals with disabilities and their families have two new unique options when planning for their financial needs. People Inc., Legal Services for the Elderly, Disabled and Disadvantaged of WNY and KeyBank have collaborated to create a one-of-a-kind supplemental needs trust.

• Trust I provides a way for persons with a disability under the age of 65 to use their own money to enhance their quality of life.

• Trust II provides for gifts from third parties and offers a tool for planned giving. A supplemental needs trust enables you to enhance the quality of life for your loved one with a disability without causing the loss of their government benefits.

The money deposited into the trusts can be used on items that enhance the quality of life for individuals with disabilities for basic necessities, or for obtaining additional care, travel, and more. For more information, call 716.634.8132.
