Health / Dental/ Vision
People Inc. offers comprehensive health, dental and vision coverage.
Health Waiver Payment
Paid Time Off Fulltime employees begin accruing Paid Time Off (PTO) immediately upon hire. PTO can be used for vacation or sick and personal days. The PTO plan includes buyback and carry over options.
Fulltime and part time employees may participate in the 401(k) plan upon the completion of six months of service. People Inc. makes a matching contribution of .30 cents on the dollar up to 3% of annual compensation.
Fulltime and part time employees are eligible to participate in the Tuition Reimbursement Program upon the completion of six months of service.
Life and Accident Insurance
People Inc. provides term life and accident insurance policies to both fulltime and part time employees at $0 cost. The benefit for fulltime employees is one and one half times their annual salary for both life and accident policies. The benefit for part time employees is $10,000 for both policies.
Long Term Disability
Fulltime employees are provided with additional disability protection under our long-term disability plan. If losing wages beyond 90 days, benefits will be paid at 60% of average weekly wages.
New York State Disability coverage is provided to both fulltime and part time employees at $0 cost. Employees are eligible to receive benefits for up to 26 weeks if they remain out of work longer than one week for a non-work-related injury or illness.
Long-term disability benefits are provided to fulltime employees at $0 cost. The policy pays 60% of weekly wages for employees who remain out of work due to injury or illness that lasts longer than 90 days for up to a 5 year duration.
Supplemental Life and Disability Insurance
Fulltime employees may purchase supplemental short-term disability coverage and supplemental life insurance coverage for themselves, spouse and dependent children.
Identity Fraud Insurance
The policy provides up to $10,000 of coverage to the employee, spouse and dependents to pay for expenses incurred as a direct result of identity fraud.
Flexible Spending Accounts
With a medical FSA, employees can pay for certain health care expenses with pre-tax dollars such as deductibles, physician and prescription co-payments, glasses/contacts, dental bills, etc. Employees can also pay for childcare expenses with pre-tax dollars for dependent children under the age of 13 with a dependent care FSA.
Employees who work on a People Inc. designated holiday will receive an additional hourly premium above their regular rate of pay.
Employees working in a direct care capacity between the hours of 11:00 pm and 7:00 am will receive an additional $.30 per hour added to their base hourly pay rate for their direct care position.
